Operators Unlimited Welcomes Amanda Kieffer as Wastewater Process Engineer & Project Manager
Bringing 10 years of industry experience to the OU team
Duncan, SC. (August 7, 2023)- Operators Unlimited, Inc. is pleased to announce the recent hire of Amanda Kieffer as Wastewater Process Engineer and Project Manager. With almost ten years of experience in industrial manufacturing and environmental compliance, Amanda has developed a broad range of essential skills needed to excel in this position. With an impressive biological and process background, she brings a well-rounded view of wastewater processes that will support and benefit OU and OU customers.
Throughout her career, Amanda has worked in on-site plants overseeing operations in several departments such as production, process, utilities and environmental where she was ultimately introduced to wastewater. She is skilled in leading projects, overseeing wastewater sampling and analysis, conducting chemical trials and lab tests, directing operators and wastewater staff and identifying and closing compliance gaps. The Operators Unlimited team will benefit from Amanda’s expertise in facility compliance and on-site experience. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University.

As Wastewater Process Engineer and Project Manager, Amanda will focus on project management, identifying industrial wastewater needs for OU customers, conducting site visits and lab testing, data analysis as well as researching, developing and implementing specialized solutions. Amanda takes pride in attention to details through a compliance-minded view and uses her engineering mindset to develop strategic plans for her customers.
