Operators Unlimited Celebrates 20 Years
On November 19th, 2021, Operators Unlimited celebrated 20 years of sustainable water transformation. During this time, we gathered to appreciate our team and our customers for making the past two decades possible. We could not have gotten where we are now without the people on our team who work every day with our core values in mind. Those who act with agility, pursue growth, own their responsibility and live with thankfulness have made us who we are today. In November we wanted to ensure that we took the extra step to live with thankfulness and tell our team how truly grateful we are to work with them through an evening of fellowship.
While celebrating this milestone together, we introduced the OU Transformation Award. This new award will be earned annually by a member of our team who has demonstrated a strong commitment to the mission and values of Operators Unlimited, and has intentionally sought transformation personally, professionally and in the lives of others. This person will have made a significant contribution to the overall success of Operators Unlimited and their individual team.
What better way to start the tradition off than by awarding the first OU Transformation Award in honor of the person who started it all, Ray Patton, the founder of Operators Unlimited. Since the very beginning in 2001, Ray Patton made a lasting impact on our company, our community and our environment. He is deeply missed by all who knew him.
While we celebrate 20 years, we are thinking of him, and are taking this opportunity to be grateful for him, and what he taught the company to stand for.
To remember the past two decades and the many more to come, we put together a time capsule with our team to remember this moment. Team members were asked to include anything that was a symbol of the era with Operators Unlimited, including photos, business cards, top songs and top movies of the day. We hope that in the future we will be able to look back fondly on our second decade and all that we have accomplished.
We are endlessly grateful to our founder, our team and our customers for giving us something to celebrate. Here’s the to many more milestones to come.
